ISSA, through its subsidiary the National Council for Certified Personal Trainers (NCCPT) offers a National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) accredited personal training exam (NCCPT-CPT) for those wanting or needing an accredited certification. Included with your personal training course, the independently reviewed exam provides maximum industry credibility, making it widely accepted by employers, fitness facilities, and insurers.
The two-hour proctored and closed-book exam may be taken online or on-site at a testing center. The $79.00 administration fee charged by the exam proctoring company is the same for each testing method. Please note that the participation, completion or purchase of any exam study packages, courses or materials are not required to sit for the NCCPT exam nor does the completion of any such items guarantee the earning of a passing score.
